The Treasure Chest hive box works and splits the same as a standard native bee box. It can be split or used for eductions/budding.

Made from 35mm Cypress
Standard native bee box dimensions 280mm x 200mm (OATH style)
Has a perspex viewing window
Dark coloured boxes can get hotter in the sun. Morning sun and afternoon shade is good.
These take a long time to make so there’s limited amounts
These boxes need protection from rain, either under a patio or add some kind of roof
